FIlm Screening: American Idealist: The Story of Sargent Shriver

American_Idealist_DVD02With great interest, the North Carolina Peace Corps Association will show "American Idealist: The Story Of Sargent Shriver", written and directed by Bruce Orenstein, who has granted special permission to our group to show this documentary about the founding of the Peace Corps, Vista, Head Start, Community Action and Legal Services for the Poor at the Cameron Village Library in Raleigh. We wish to thank the Cameron Village Library, which is located at 1930 Clark Avenue and invite all RPCVs, friends, family and the public to the viewing opportunity of this important film, called "An exceptional achievement...one of the best documentaries ever made about the history of the 1960's."
