Herps of North Carolina One of the, if not the, most asked question to Society members is "what kind of animal is this" In an effort to serve the membership and the public in general the Society is starting a North Carolina Herps section. This section will include Images of many of the herps of North Carolina. Common and Scientific names are in a constant state of change. The names used here will reflect those believed to be most widely accepted at this time and will change as peer review deems appropriate.
