[Anchasl-l] MLA Teleconference: The Art and Practice of Electronic Journal,Book and Database Licenses

The Duke University Medical Center Library will host the MLA satellite 
broadcast on electronic licensing on Wednesday, September 22, 2004.  "The 
Art and 
Practice of Electronic Journal, Book and Database Licenses: Practical Tips 
for Health Care Organizations" will begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Medical 
Library Education Center (MLEC) on the library's lower level.

This program will deal with the basics of electronic licensing.  The 
teleconference will cover critical elements and language in a license 
agreement, pricing, negotiating and troubleshooting.  The information 
given will help all library professionals, not just those in medical 
libraries. 

Registration is free, but seating is limited.  Please RSVP ASAP to Judy
