For those in the health sciences librarianship community with fond
memories of her, word has been received of a resolution recently
introduced into the Louisiana State Legislature requesting that a
library at LSU be renamed the "Jane Lambremont LSU Library".  For

Jane, who passed away November 30, 2005 in Baton Rouge worked with the
AHEC Library system in Chapel Hill in the early 1980s and in library
services at the Veterans Administration in Asheville in the mid 1980s.
