Google is widely recognized as the best search engine on the Web and is

teach you how Google thinks and works to optimize your ability to
construct effective searches. You will learn to identify and work with
Google's many unique features. This hands-on workshop will provide
exercises, theoretical background, and discussion to give you experience
with effectively using Google's often mysterious defaults, its unique
ranking algorithm, its many advanced search options and tools, its
potential as an encyclopedic dictionary, its preference settings, and some
of its special services. Examples and content are focused for researchers
in the fields of medical and health information. Approved for 4
