La Fiesta - Health Fair
Volunteers Needed

 Greetings -

For the past three years, the Health Sciences Library has taken part in
La Fiesta del Pueblo, one of the largest Latin American Community
Festivals in the Carolinas to help increase awareness of consumer health
information resources.

This year in addition to NC Health Info and MedlinePlus, we will also
be promoting HSL's services to the public.

We need your help. We are asking for volunteers to work the booth in 2
or 3 hours shifts over the duration of the festival. We will be handing
out information and answering any questions that consumers may have.

The event will take place Saturday September 9^th from 12 noon until 8
pm and also on Sunday September 10^th from 12 noon until 6 pm.

We will set up for the event on Friday September 8^th .

If would like to volunteer to help, please respond to Emily Hurst and
let her know when you are available.

For more information on La Fiesta del Pueblo visit www.elpueblo.org
<http://www.elpueblo.org/>. Much of the information is in English as
well as in Spanish.
