Moses Cone Health System Library is recruiting an energetic and creative librarian for our Medical Librarian - User Services position.  We are seeking an individual who will utilize new technologies and methods to deliver information services in an expanding health system environment.  Responsibilities include developing educational experiences on searching for medical and health information to MCHS and community groups, consulting on information services to the MCHS entities, growing our consumer health services and promoting MCHS Library information services.

This is a 40hr/wk position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1.	Experience in designing classes, teaching and creating education materials utilizing various technologies.
2.	Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
3.	 Demonstrates personal commitment to quality and personal accountability standards.
4.	Ability to use excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with all Library users.
5.	Ability to use and  physically transport educational  equipment and tools. Physical job demands may be subject to possible modifications to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:  Masters Degree in Library or Information Science (MLS) or educational equivalent. 
Experience:	Two years working in a similar position.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
