Interaction Data Steward
Description:
The North Carolina Biotechnology Center seeks an InterAction Data
Steward to ensure the data integrity in its Client Relationship
Management system through data change management and research.
This employee will provide data analysis, management and reporting
support for InterAction to support the needs of the Biotechnology Center
staff.
Duties include entering data, maintaining data quality and integrity,
maintaining documentation, providing monthly reports from InterAction
for distribution.
This position is the primary contact for data integrity issues and
serves as a backup for the system administrator.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will understand the physical and logical structure
of databases and will have some familiarity with content in a Client
Relationship Management (CRM) database.
The candidate should: be detail- and customer-oriented, have excellent
written and oral communication skills, and exhibit excellent
interpersonal skills.
The position reports to the Director of Library and Information
Resources.
A Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or science area with a
minimum of three years experience in an office environment, experience
with data integrity and consistency issues, extensive experience with
Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Outlook is required
(experience with SQL and/or other relational databases preferred) or an
equivalent combination of education and experience.
The salary range for this position is between $37,153 and $47,153.
