Assistant Director of Development and Communications

The Health Sciences Library, University of North Carolina, invites
applications and nominations for the position of Assistant Director of
Development and Communications. This position offers a unique
opportunity to create and implement new development activities and
reshape the library’s communications. The incumbent will be part of a
four-person Health Sciences Library development and communications team
(two full-time and two part-time). The Health Sciences Library is noted
for innovative electronic digital libraries for health professionals and
the general public, well-received online educational programs, and
service-oriented staff (http://www.hsl.unc.edu). The environment is
collaborative with a campus central development office and campus news
services, which support communications and development officers in
schools, departments, and other campus libraries. Priority review of
applications will begin March 17, 2008. Applications will be accepted
until position is filled.
