Me again...I just got the following "official" message I was suppose to send out instead
of the one I sent earlier. Sorry for clogging up your email. The official message has
more information...read below:
Greetings Colleagues:
As your state representative on the NN/LM Emergency Preparedness & Response Task Force, it is my role to disseminate emergency related information to Network members. As I'm sure you are all aware, there is a good chance that Tropical Storm Hanna will impact our state over the weekend. If your library experiences any service disruption due to the storm, please contact your RML Office at 1-800-DEV-ROKS. Calling this number will trigger the NN/LM National Emergency Preparedness & Response Plan, which you can read about at the NN/LM Emergency Preparedness & Response Toolkit (http://nnlm.gov/ep). (Click on the hyperlinked text in the right column under 1-800-DEV-ROKS.)
If your materials sustain water damage, you can call either of these two 24/7 numbers for free advice and referrals (in addition to calling 1-800-DEV-ROKS): SOLINET at (800) 999-8558 or the Northeast Document Conservation Center at (978) 470-1010.
