For North Carolina ANCHASL Members:

Apply now for the ReHI-ANCHASL Scholarship to be awarded for the
MLA 2009 Annual Meeting iFusions in Hawaii, May 15-20

One $1325 scholarship will be awarded.
Award will cover the meeting registration, the continuing education classes,
and some travel expenses.
ANCHASL membership is required.*
Please follow the instructions on the application form.
The ANCHASL Scholarship application deadline is Friday, December 5th.
Recipients will be notified on Friday, December 19th, 2008.
Members of the Scholarship Committee encourage you to apply!

The ANCHASL Board and Scholarship Committee are delighted to announce the ReHI-ANCHASL Award to aid ANCHASL members in attending the MLA 2009 Annual Meeting iFusions in Hawaii, May 15-20.  The award, a combination of the remaining ReHI funds and ANCHASL funds designated by the Board, is $1325.  The application process began at the Fall ANCHASL Meeting on Nov. 7th.  Information and the application are now posted on the ANCHASL web site at http://www.anchasl.org/scholarship.htm
The application is also attached to this email.  If possible, please complete and return the application electronically.  Deadline for applications is December 5th.  Announcement of the award recipient will be made by December 19th.   By completing the scholarship process in December, we are seeking to enable the recipient to plan more fully for attending this expensive event.  Payment will be made to the recipient in March, 2009.
