Hi ANCHASL Colleagues, 

Thank you to all who braved Friday the 13th to attend the Fall ANCHASL meeting at the North Carolina Zoo!   Since we couldn't all be there, I want to send a virtual round of applause to all the ANCHASL officers who completed roles at this meeting and thank them for the time and effort they've shared in leading ANCHASL. 

Monique Mackey wrapped up her year as Past-President by bringing on an excellent slate of new officers and completing our bylaws changes.  Thank you Monique!

Rosa Edwards finished her presidential year and is heading into the homestretch of her three year term.  She'll be contacting you about serving on the nominating committee for next year.  

Becky Johnston's Treasurer term is complete and she is pleased to have Susan Hardee come on as Treasurer after completing years of service chairing the Scholarship Committee. 

I am pleased to have finished as president-elect and pass the meeting planning baton on to our new President-Elect, MaryBeth Schell.   MaryBeth just finished chairing the Publicity Committee and will be seeking someone to lead that committee.  Please also let MaryBeth know your ideas for future meetings. 

Special thanks to outgoing committee chairs -- Susan Hardee from Scholarships who passes that role on to Carol Vreeland;  Margaret Cobb who passes the Continuing Education Chair responsibilities to co-chairs Leila Ledbetter and Melanie Norton;  Dan Oates from Membership has served ANCHASL well and now we are seeking his replacement. 

If I've forgotten anyone or gotten it wrong, I'm sorry, and please let me know if you are interested in serving on or leading a committee.  Looking forward to another great year of ANCHASL activities and hope to see you on 11/18 for the MLA Webcast.
