Reminder: Funding opportunities available now

Over the holiday instead of dreaming of sugarplum fairies, you may want to
think about the funding opportunities available from the SE/A. There are
several express awards open for application and funding in our current
contract year. These include:

    * Express Community Day Award to promote family and community
emergency preparedness
    * Express Library Promotion to provide support for projects that
hospital librarians can use to demonstrate their value to and increase
their visibility in their institution
    * Express Library Digitization to enable libraries to digitize
historical materials or a unique collection to increase its
accessibility within and without the institution
    * Training award was recently increased to $1,000/award
    * Exhibit awards to promote libraries, librarians and information
access at state or regional meetings of health professionals, library
associations, or health consumers.
