Many of you have had a busy week, attending MLA or traveling for the Memorial Day holiday. To give you more time to apply for an ANCHASL scholarship, the deadline for submitting applications has been extended until end of day (midnight) on Thursday, June 3. Simply complete the application form at http://www.anchasl.org/Application_ANCHASL_Spring_2010.doc and e-mail it to me at carol_vreeland at ncsu.edu.

Planning to join us for the Spring ANCHASL Meeting and C.E.: "The Ropes: Planning Instruction for the Adult Learner" on June 18, 2010 in Wilson, NC? Please apply for one of the two scholarships being offered. The Board has authorized the Scholarship Committee to award two $75 scholarships for this meeting and C.E. The award will cover your registration and part of your travel expenses.

Complete and return the attached form to me by the end of the day on June 1. (The application will also be available on the ANCHASL Web site, http://www.anchasl.org/ , next week.) We'll notify recipients by June 11.
