[Anchasl-l] ANCHASL 2011 membership renewal and upcoming CE

The Association of North Carolina Health and Science Libraries (ANCHASL) allows you to keep in touch with your colleagues, attend continuing education programs for MLA credit at a very reasonable cost, and be part of our exciting and growing organization. We typically sponsor two programs a year and host a state reception at the annual meeting of the MLA Mid-Atlantic Chapter meeting in the fall. Our membership year runs from January to December. Dues are $15 for most of us and $5 for students.

It is now time to renew your membership to ANCHASL for 2011. As of Feb 4, 11 have renewed and all should have received acknowledgments from me today. 

You may pay with a credit card through ACTEVA, a secure online payment site or by check directly to our treasurer, Susan Hardee. Both methods ask you to provide your current contact information, and we encourage you to check off interest in serving on a committee. To renew, please follow these steps:

Go to the ANCHASL web site: http://www.anchasl.org

Select the third button on left: Join ANCHASL

Select the form for credit card or check payment, then fill in form and print your confirmation

Within about a week, I will send you a personal email with the passwords to the Members Only section of the ANCHASL website (where the membership directory is located) and to Survey Monkey plus a summary of member benefits.

If you check off interest in serving on an ANCHASL committee, our president, MaryBeth Schell, will contact you to get you plugged in.

Evidence Based Medicine, taught by Connie Schardt for 6 hours of MLA-CE credit
Friday, April 29, 2011, at the Duke University Medical Center in Durham
