The North Carolina State University Libraries is launching a search for the
position of Director of Strategic Assessment.   The ideal candidate will be
an individual who is able to design and implement an assessment program and
facilitate the application of data and research findings to decision making
across all of the library’s programmatic areas.  She or he will identify
strategic opportunities and will collaborate with diverse colleagues in
fostering a culture of assessment. The position requires an ALA-accredited
MLS or equivalent advanced degree and reports to the Deputy Director of
Libraries.

This is a key leadership role for the NCSU Libraries, and the nomination
committee is eager to assemble a pool of competitive candidates.  The
