[Chaos-l] Minutes of the Apr. CHAOS meeting

There were 20 people at the meeting last night and almost all were CHAOS members.  Dr. Dan Reichart gave an interactive presentation on the probability of intelligent life in the universe (beyond certain parts of the Earth - I will NOT be more specific).  Obviously, assumptions must be made and Dan let the audience decide what these assumptions must be.  Our result indicates that there is probably intellegent life out there, but not necessarily close by.  More detailed minutes will be in the next newsletter.  Thanks, Dan.  Walter
