[Chaos-l] Club Observing Session This Weekend

Everyone,

Our club observing session is scheduled for this weekend at the Dark Sky 
site near the Virginia border.   Theoretically, we would try first tomorrow 
night (Friday), and then postpone the session until Saturday if the weather 
is uncooperative.   I don't want to jinx things ... but I expect at least 
clouds will be a problem Friday night, if not rain ... so we will likely be 
observing on Saturday night.   It gets dark around 9 PM (although Jupiter 
was nicely visible Monday night even at dusk) and it takes about an hour to 
drive to the Dark Sky site, so we probably need to leave from East Chapel 
Hill HS at around 7:30 PM.

Stay tuned to this listserv for more information about whether the session 
will be on Friday or Saturday.   I will post something definite tomorrow.
