Hello all,

Morehead Planetarium's next skywatching event will be July 9th. We currrently don't have anything planned for this coming Saturday. I am hoping for clear skies because I have been advertising the event quite a bit around the planetarium. Many people have sounded interested and asked for more info. Weather permitting, I hope to see you all there.

Have a great evening,

-Josh Haislip

I think Morehead Planetarium is having another "go" at Ebenezer Point Sat night as well.
We're going to try to make it, tho' Sue has to drive at night till I get my other cataract fixed!
Right eye is now 20/25! Hopefully, I will be fully visual by end of July. This will do wonders for my stargazing capabilities.

Are we planning on viewing on Sunday? It sounds like it might be clear. This should give us an idea of what the comet looks like pre-impact. Can we do a special event at the dark site?
