[Chaos-l] Deep Impact subject of CHAOS meeting Tues.

Matt Bayliss, recent UNC graduate in astronomy and new astronomy grad student at the University of Chicago, will speak on "The Deep Impact Mission to Comet Tempel-1 [no misspelling - I looked it up] -  Shedding Light on the Formation of Our Solar System."  This is a very timely topic since the collision between the impactor and the comet nucleus occurred on July 4.  Matt says he'll bring plenty of images, Hubble and otherwise, and will cover what we have learned and still hope to learn.  The meeting is in the Slant Room (off the bus lot) at East Chapel Hill High School on Weaver Dairy Rd. at 7 pm on Tues., July 12.  Please join us.  Walter
