[Chaos-l] Successful if low-key mini-observing session

Hi all. The sky clock was amazingly accurate, with a band of clear air
sweeping over Farrington from about 845 'till about 10. There was a
bit too much moon, but Klaus and i were able to observe open clusters
(M45 , h/chi Per , M103, M36/37/38), globular clusters (M2 and M15), a
nebula (M42) and even some galaxies (M32/33/110, and a ghostly barely
visible M33). M45 (the Pleiades) and h/chi (the double-cluster) were
especially nice, and M42 (the Orion Nebula) stood up to the moonlight
amazingly well.

All in all, a very nice mini-session, and a good cure for my photon
deprivation.

J.
