[Chaos-l] question about secondary/ focuser placement

Hi everybody. I can't find any Newt type programs
that will run on Mac OS. So maybe someone can answer
something for me. My mirror is 12.5" in diameter,
with a focal length of 60" (f/4.8). My diagonal
mirror is 2.48". How far should the secondary be from
the primary mirror to avoid wasting any light? The
reason I think it might be too close is that I
unwittingly (or dimwittedly) replaced the secondary
mirror a couple of years ago with one that is slightly
smaller. Now I just got a 2" focuser to replace the
original 1.25" and since I have to bore a bigger hole
in the tube, I might as well bore it in the right
place. I'm probably gonna operate on my scope this
weekend so if anyone has any advice or wants to help,
let me know.

BTW, is anyone interested in doing any observing this seekend?
