[Chaos-l] observing Fri. night

I will be going to *Farrington Road boatramp on Jordan Lake Friday
night*(Jan. 6) to check out Mark's new scope and to see whatever can
be seen.
Surprisingly, the clear sky clock for Jordan Lake (linked to the CHAOS
website) shows that clear skies are forecast, although the "seeing" is
predicted to be less than ideal.  Don't forget the Morehead observing
session Sat. night (Jan. 7) at the Ebenezer Church entrance to Jordan
Lake.   Dress warmly both nights.  Walter
P.S.  Don't forget the CHAOS meeting next Tues. (Jan. 10) at 7 pm at East
Chapel Hill High School.  The speaker is clubmember and webcam guru Bryan
Henry and his topic will be "Deep Sky Observing."  Hope to see you out
observing this weekend AND at next week's meeting.
