Hi all. Many thanks to everybody who's sent me feedback on my
previous articles. Due to mostly to a heavy load at work, i have not
actually incorporated your suggestions, but i have saved them all and
will get to them in the relatively near future.

That said, i've put another new page under Recreational Astronmer:

http://www.rtpnet.org/chaos/RA/buyingTelescopes.html

As the title implies, it's aimed at people looking to buy their first
telescope. Hopefully it contains sound advice, and may be applicable
to people looking to upgrade from a first scope as well. This is still
a rough draft.

If you can find the time to send feedback, i'd be very grateful. In
particular, i don't have any of the links to other sites or resources
in the page, in part for lack of time, and in part because i've been
out of the telescope market for so long.

If you have suggestions for links, images, and so on to include in the
article, i will be very pleased to receive them.

Also, as i say in the article, the info and opinions are what worked
for me. If you have a different opinion or viewpoint, and want to send
me a write-up (anything from a paragraph to a whole article), i'll put
them on the web site and link them in from my article. If we get
enough of them, we may want to create a whole separate area of the
website for them.

Thanks very much.

J.
