[Chaos-l] Observing sessions: conditions look grim for tonight

Hi all. The observing conditions for tonight's scheduled observing
session at the dark site look Bad: 70+% cloud cover, bad transparency,
and 60+% chance of rain. I propose tonight's session be officially
canceled.
The sky clocks don't yet reach to Saturday night, but the Wunderground
predicts quite good conditions for Saturday night.
That gives us a scheduling conflict, as the Morehead folks have a
session scheduled at ECRA on Jordan Lake from 8:30 - 10:30.
1) Is there anyone who definitely plans to attend the ECRA session, so
we have a CHAOS presence there?
2) Is there anyone who knows the way to the dark site and definitely
plans to observe there, so we have somebody to lead a caravan from
ECHHSBL?
3) Is there anyone who hasn't been to the dark site before, but
definitely plans to observe there, so that we _need_ somebody to lead?
My personal inclination is to go to the dark site (i want to try a 1/2
marathon) which would cover #2 above, and eliminate worries that
somebody in category #3 would end up without access to the site. But,
we do have a public service, if not obligation, at least inclination, to
help out at ECRA.
Let's hear from you: what are your observing plans for Saturday?
J.
