Wednesday and Thursday night were very good nights for some DSO work. There
was no moon and the seeing and transparency conditions were very good. I
managed to bag a fair number of Leo galaxies and open clusters in Monoceros
and Gemini with my C11. For the galaxies, a Lumicon Deep Sky filter helped
a bit. The open clusters and double stars looked good all by themselves.
