The fireball in Norway wasns't quite as spectacular as advertised.  It
had "only" the kinetic energy as 300 tons of TNT, far short of the
Hiroshima blast.  This sort of fireball is rather common, they happen
once a month or so but are often unreported  because they fall over
water or in the daytime when they can't be seen.
 
Anyway, who wants 300 tons of TNT anywhere near you?
