Jayme,

I read that they really didn't know exactly what was wrong yet.   It 
could be some cosmic ray hit the memory chips and brought it offline 
... in which case reloading the memory would fix it.   It could be a 
faulty transistor, in which case (and yes, I was amazed when I read 
this) they said using a backup would fix it.   Or it could be 
something serious.   I hadn't seen a definitive statement concerning 
the analysis yet.
