Hi all.  The night of the club picnic will have some interesting Jupiter events.  From the CHAOS Astronomical Events page:

9/16 7:16 PM Io Transit End (S -1 J 236 22)
9/16 8:14 PM Io Shadow Transit End (S -12 J 247 13)
9/16 8:48 PM Ganymede Transit Start (S -19 J 253 7)

Unfortunately, according to the Red Spot calculator at:

The Red Spot transit is at 09/17/2006 @ 01:08 am, i.e. well after midnight.
