The meeting held this past Tuesday, January 9th, was yet another good one.
There were 15 to 20 in attendance.

Topics of discussion were:
Astronomy Days coming up on the 27th and 28th of this month.
Come share your passion with others by manning our booth.
Comet McNaught and where to find it.
"What's Up" given by Alice Yeaman
Morehead Planetarium's "Paddling Under the Stars"
They would like to have some CHAOS members with telescopes at journeys
end
to share the night sky with the paddlers.

Our featured speaker was Jim Pressley. Jim gave an excellent talk on "Eye
Pieces". The information given was a great refresher for some and
educational for others. There was a lot of discussion after the meeting.

I would like to thank Jim for his presentation and we look forward to
having him back.

If you have a favorite topic in astronomy and would like to write a short
article. Submit it to Robert Nielsen. He would love to add it to the news
letter. Please share your passion with the club.

Have a good month of observing.
