Greetings every one,

I am tardy on the minutes of the last meeting.

The February Meeting was attended by 20 members.

Walter Fowler talked about Astronomy Days. It was well attended but he has
not heard of any estimates about how many people showed up. Stewart
Dunaway's pictures and Jon Stewart-Taylor's shadow box of Orion were big
hits at our table. Thanks to everyone that helped put together and man the
table.

Alice Yeaman told us "What Up" for February. She mentioned that March 3rd
is a total lunar eclipse. We will see the Moon rise eclipsed. Don't miss
it.

Our Speaker, John Miller, gave a remarkable and inspiring presentation
about the observing clubs of the Astronomical League. Whether your a
novice or an old hat, there is an observing club for you. Each club,
through observing and documenting, works toward a certificate and pin.
This is one way to improve your observing skills and have something to
show for it. As for me, It may get me past the, what Jon Stewart-Taylor
calls, "Tourist Traps".

Here is the website for the Astronomical Leagues Observing Clubs.

Clear Skies.
