I came across this seemingly comprehensive course to Astronomy and the Universe.  Its 96 - 30 minute lectures on a number of interesting astronomy/cosmology topics that are on 16 DVD's for $189.00.  The presenter has a very distinguished teaching and research record and the material is fairly recent. The DVD's also contain short videos and photographs in addition to the lectures.  The complete transcript can also be bought for $85 more.

I'm thinking this may be a great information resource for CHAOS members if the club were interested in buying it, but if not, I'd be interested in finding out if any CHAOS member would be willing to pitch in and get it.  Maybe a group of like minded members could get it and share the cost. Someone would have to keep up with who's got what and who wants what but it seems that would be a small price to pay for the sharing the info.
