[Chaos-l] May's CHAOS Meeting

Hello CHAOS,

Tuesday May 8ths meeting was a very interesting meeting. 
Walter Fowler talked about an opportunity that CHAOS has salvaging some
old school telescopes from Duke's Physics Department. They have several
telescopes that need to be removed or they go to waste. CHAOS members are
wanting to take the telescopes and refurbish them and give them to some
High Schools. If you are interested in helping with this project, get in
touch with one of the board members.

Our guest speaker was Elaine Osborne. Elaine gave a wonderful talk about
here experiences of traveling around the country to different star
parties. "Fellowship Under the Stars" was an incredible journey of meeting
new frontiers and new friends with a smiles on her face. She pointed out
that every moment is an observing moment. We just have to look around

future and enjoying the fellowship.
