[Chaos-l] Assisting with observing session

We've had a request from a group with ASP - The Astronomical Society of 
the Pacific - who will be doing an "Astronomy From the Ground Up" 
workshop in Durham in October. They are visiting Morehead for the 
afternoon and evening of Tuesday, Oct. 23, to see a planetarium show, 
visit the observatory, have a keynote speaker (and dinner), as well as 
various activities. Weather permitting they would like to have an 
observing session - probably by the Sundial - and requested a local 
astronomy club. That's you!

This is just a few days before a full Moon, so dark skies will not be 
with us, light pollution or no.

The keynote speech will probably be open to the public. Much is still to 
be decided, but I wanted to get this on the calendar. I'll keep you
