[Chaos-l] Do-it-yourself: newsletter articles on "homemade" observing accessories?

Hi all.  For the September newsletter, i'd like to have a bunch of 
articles on  "do-it-yourself", with articles about inexpensive 
alternatives to equipment normally purchased at much higher expense.  I 
know there are people out there who've made observing chairs, 
dew-removal systems, all kinds of stuff.  Please take the time to write 
a few paragraphs, and maybe take a picture or two, and send them to me 
by August 25th.
