Dear CHAOS members,
I know you are already in high demand for this Saturday night, what with
the CHAOS annual picnic and the 8-10 pm Morehead skywatching session at
Jordan Lake’s Ebenezer Church Recreation Area.
But if any of you are planning to bring your telescopes to this
Saturday’s Paddling Under the Stars event at Jordan Lake, please do let
me know. For the last paddle, the CHAOS folks set up on the right
branch of Farrington Point, at the beginning of the parking lot
(opposite end from the boat ramp).
The paddlers and I would love to see you Saturday night, but of course I
understand if no one is able to make it this time.
Here’s more information:

At Jordan Lake, Farrington Point Boat Ramp
Sat, Sept 15
While our paddlers are on the water, we educate them about what they're
seeing with the naked eye. Once they're off the water, we hope some of
you would enjoy being at Farrington to share views of the sky through
telescopes or binoculars. The paddlers will be meeting at 7:15 pm, and
we expect to be off the water and ready for telescope viewing around 10
pm (give or take half an hour).
Thanks!
Amy Sayle
