This email came to me from Garry Crites of Duke. Some thing for you to
consider.

==================================

	Dear Jayme,

I recently took over as the Director of Evening and Weekend Courses
(formerly Short Courses) over here at Duke. I am really excited about
this
position, and am committed to making it vibrant, vital, and successful.
To
accomplish this, I am in the process of evaluating our program, finding
out
what has gone well, and what needs to be worked on.

Being an amateur astronomer, one of the courses I most wanted to
implement
next Spring was a basic astronomy/stargazing course. I was excited to see
that this program offered astronomy in the distant past, and I would love
to be able to get new and veteran students back into the majesty of the
	night sky.

May I ask if there are any excellent teachers in CHAOS that you might
recommend for a basic course on backyard astronomy?

Thanks for any help and insight you can give!

	Garry Crites

I know that we have some excellent teachers. I've heard the presentations.

Clear skies,

Jayme
