Hello everyone,

I just want to get out a reminder that this months meeting at Carol Woods
will be an observing session for the residents. We will set up our
telescopes out front of the Assembly Hall and allow the residents to have
a look at the wonders of the sky. Unfortunately, we will have to put up
with a little light pollution. 

I would like to also invite everyone to my house for a telescope work
session Sunday, October 7th from 4-6pm. We are basically painting at this
point. The bases need to be painted and the tubes need to masked and
primed. We also need to have a discussion about the color of the telescope
tubes.

Several of the mirrors are boxed up, however we need to figure out a way
to finance the re-coating of the mirrors. Does any one have any
suggestions? 

MASP is next week. Several members are heading down early and several,
like me, are going down later in the week. It sound like CHAOS may have a
good showing.
