Hi everyone,

If any of you plan to bring your telescopes to TONIGHT'S Paddling Under
the Stars event at Jordan Lake, please let me know so I can send the
paddlers your way.

More information:

Morehead Planetarium and Science Center & Frog Hollow Outdoors' Paddling
Under the Stars, at Jordan Lake, Farrington Point Boat Ramp

While our paddlers are on the water, we educate them about what they're
seeing with the naked eye. Once they're off the water, we hope some of
you would enjoy being at Farrington to share views of the sky through
telescopes or binoculars. The paddlers will be meeting at 7 pm, and we
expect to be off the water and ready for telescope viewing around 9:30
or 10 pm (or maybe a little later, it all depends on how fast or slow we
paddle...)

A good place to set up is on the right branch of Farrington Point, at
the beginning of the parking lot (opposite end from the boat ramp).

As you probably all know, the forecast looks great!

This is the last paddle for 2007. More to come beginning spring 2008.

thanks!
Amy
