hi,
i've gotta work at 5:30 tomorrow, so I'm out. :) + I'm "observed
out" -- if that's possible
MASP was awesome. Got a chance to see so really great stuff
including the Saturn nebula, blue snow ball, M15, Andromeda, Helix
nebula, NGC 891, Stephen's quintet, Pegasus I galaxy cluster to name
a few. The weather was awesome and it was fun to observe and
socialize with everyone. In addition, it was fun to observe the same
objects in different scopes with various eyepieces. Take Stephen's
quintet for example. At low power, it was virtually invisible, but
with a Burgess TMB 9mm the contrast/surface brightness was "just
right" and you could really see it!!!! Some of us will pass along
some experiences soon either by email or in the newsletter.
