Hello everyone,

December 11th is our monthly meeting date. This month I have the program
"Seeing in the Dark" by Tim Ferris. It is an interesting program about
amateur astronomers and their love for the hobby. This program was
recently shown by PBS and I thought it would be a good program to watch
together and use it as a discussion tool. So if you missed it on PBS and
you would like to see it. Come to the CHAOS meeting and enjoy the program.

I will also bring some slides of the mirror cleaning that Jim Pressley and
I did last Friday.

I would like to also give all CHAOS members a heads up about the January
8th meeting. That's correct, information a whole month ahead of time.

Our January meeting will be held at the Morehead Planetarium. Amy Sayle
and Mickey Jo Sorrell have graciously invited us to their establishment to
enjoy an MPSC program. The Raleigh Club and I'm hoping the Alamance clubs
will be joining us. This will make it a regional clubs meeting. I'm really
excited about this. So put the date down on your calendar and watch the
listserv for more information.

Also, let's be thinking about Astronomy Days.

Clear Skies!

Jayme
