message came across the listserve, and it's much fainter now too.

Hi all.  From my office in RTP (LM about 2.5-3) i can confirm there's
something bright and asymmetrical as reported by Kumar.  With a pair of
4x20s i can't tell much else, but somebody with a good instrument should
take a look.  I'll stick the 10" on it when i get home.

 Right now.7.00 pm...overhead..a very bright object..like a glowing
comet...not where i expected holmes..but could be.. east of cygnus..
