[Chaos-l] lunar filter, Bynum bridge, Dob tubes

2" filter? Do you have a 2" eyepiece? Didn't know 
they made them that large, but then there's lots 
I don't know about telescopes!  :-D

The Bynum old bridge sounds like a grand site for 
stargazing. I'll pencil in that first Thursday in January & await further word.

OTOH, while I'm waiting on replacement of my 
Declination drive gear for my Celestron 80mm 
refractor, I found an unused video camera tripod 
which we may be able to with my binoculars (with 
some crafty construction of a mounting bracket, etc.).

BTW, I have painted two ex-Duke Dobsonian tubes 
an attractive Forest Green & will bring'm back to Jayme some day soon.
It'll not likely be warm enough again for outdoor 
painting soon... but I could do so in his barn, maybe?
