[Chaos-l] Observing Session at Frank Porter Graham Elementary

We (Morehead Planetarium and Science Center) are arranging for an 
observing session for third graders and their families at the Frank 
Porter Graham Elementary School on the playground. No, not dark, but not 
bad for the city. We're still trying to get more lights turned off.

The date is Friday, February 8, with a back-up cloud date for the next 
week, February 15.  Time 7:30 - 9:00.

The students are already learning about telescopes and star charts and 
making their red flashlights. An invitation goes out to the parents today.
We're still moving through the logistics - like having several stations 
to keep things moving (in case weather conspires to bring out hundreds).

Assistance from CHAOS would be greatly appreciated. Some of you have a 
lot more experience with school observing than I do. Your advice would 
be useful, even if you can't attend.
