Seriously? I can't remember if I've mentioned it yet, but I just bought a
Celestron Omni 102 a month or two ago. It was only a couple of months old
and had only been used once or twice. Absolutely pristine condition, and my
limited experience with it so far has yielded great success. Very clear
images, nearly perfect star test, good contrast, etc.
Is that the same one you're planning to get? If you want to audition one
first, we should take mine out, or I'd even be happy to loan it to you if our
schedules don't match.
I bought it mostly to do some lunar and planetary observing from my back
porch, which is heavily light polluted.
