[Chaos-l] New 18" Scope

I finally cracked.  The price on the 18" Starmaster that was for sale in 
Wilson kept going lower and lower, and today I bought it.  The optics are 
Pegasus, and the certificate shows some very impressive stats.  Strehl is 
0.99 and Wavefront P-V error is 1/22.5 wave.

It looks to be in great shape, and the optics are pristine.  It came with a 
telrad, scope coat, argo navis, and a black shroud.

But perhaps the most impressive part of the day was fitting it into my 2-door 
Honda Civic!  Here are some pictures:

My experience thus far in CHAOS has been tremendously inspirational.  Thanks 
to everyone (especially Mark) who has helped me learn to star-hop and observe 
these past 9 months.  You're a big part of the reason I'm moving up to large 
equipment, and I can't wait to share this new chapter with you all.

Now, can anyone do something about the weather?  I think it would all but 
guarantee a win in Tuesday night's election!
