[Chaos-l] What's up with Mars? Find out at the Tues. CHAOS meeting

Some of you may remember Howard Lineberger, geologist and Durham Academy
science teacher, who brought some of his students to a CHAOS meeting a
couple of summers ago to present their NASA-sponsored work in interpreting
and explaining data from the Mars Rovers.  Their enthusiastic presentation
was well received and reassured those present that astronomy and science in
general were attracting some of our "best and brightest" and should continue
to flourish in the future.  Howard is coming back with his current students
to present continuing Mars Rover work and he will at least mention the new
Mars Lander.  Please join us on Tues. evening at 7 pm at the Carol Woods
Assembly Hall off Weaver Dairy Rd.  Jayme will also be updating the work on
the 5 Duke scopes and may even bring one in for our perusal.  Hope to see
