Greetings,
 
The sky clock promises a good night tonight, and I am eager to get some observing done before we are visited by Hanna.  I plan to be at Farrington around 9 for about two hours.  
Last night I joined Micheal with my binoculars for abt an hour.  It was a great night, and I wandered the milky way with my bincoulars/mirror mount.  I had some nice views of star fields, lagoon. trifid, and swan nebulas.
I also had stunning views of the Viel, trifid, and jupiter trhough Mike's 18 inch reflector.  The Viel particularly was a sight to behold.  By golly, it did indeed look like a Viel..rather than the ghostly strand that I see through my 8 incher.
