[Chaos-l] Lunar ring and moondogs

Hi all.  I don't know if this message will reach you in time, but as  
of 22:37 on Sunday Evening, there's an absolutely beautiful ring  
around the moon, with two moondogs.  The ring itself is about 15-20  
degrees diameter, and goes all 360 degrees around the moon.  The  
moondogs are at 3 and 9 o'clock respectively, and show just a hint of  
color.  There's also a much fainter "axle" which runs from the moon  
to the dog on each side.

If you hurry, you might still see it.
