Here is an interesting article about the new Morrison Planetarium in San 
Francisco.  It's all-digital, run by a team of 6 HD projectors and 21 
computers.  It is the largest planetarium in North America, and the largest 
digital theater in the world.

This article focuses more on the technology that runs the place rather than 
the astronomical content, but I think you'll enjoy it.
